A Cancer Warrior’s Perspective: A Practical Guide for Loved Ones to Support Young Adults Fighting Cancer
When I was 29 years old, I was diagnosed with glioblastoma (GBM), an aggressive form of brain cancer.
Since then, I married the love of my life, moved from New York to Los Angeles, adopted the goofiest furball, and published my first book.
Today, I'm supporting other young adults facing cancer by helping their loved ones show up with empathy, practical action, and sustained presence, and by openly speaking about my fight against glioblastoma.
I'm on a mission to raise awareness for the challenges young cancer patients are facing and to help those impacted by cancer to regain hope, optimism, courage, and resilience .
